April Spring Mini Boot Camp – Personal Transformations for the New Year

Inspire yourself by taking this mini-transformative boot camp.

When?

April 1st to April 15th, 2019

What’s this boot camp and what can I expect to get out of it?

A boot camp provides you with a jolt to your routine. A shock to your writing system. You will be given daily writing prompts. There will be 14 in all. For the first week of prompts, we will deal with personal transformations. At the end of week 1, you will have the opportunity to submit 1 work as homework for feedback. The second week will be prompt driven. The focus on the last week will be producing new material.

Bonus for participants: You will get a priority submission (if you desire) into one of two anthologies that I will be producing. (Anthology information to be posted soon.)

Who can this benefit?

Although this course is geared to poets, nonfiction writers can certainly benefit from this course to generate new material.

How do I participate?

Prompts are sent to you on a daily basis during the camp

How much does this cost?

Early bird Registration – prior to March 15th – $15 – barely $1 a day

Registration after March 15th – $25

Registration fee payable via PayPal. Send payment to jennsmithak @ gmail .com with “Spring Mini-Boot Camp” in the comments.

April National Poetry Writing Month

Inspire yourself by taking this boot camp dedicated to National Poetry Writing Month

When?

April 1st to April 30th

What’s this boot camp and what can I expect to get out of it?

A boot camp provides you with a jolt to your routine. A shock to your writing system. You will be given daily writing prompts. There will be 30 in all. We will start off with the artist and who you are, then we will focus on perceptions, followed by your goals and then finally, progress. At the end of week 2, you will have the opportunity to submit 1 work as homework for feedback. You will also have the opportunity to get general feedback at the end of week 4, if you choose. The first two weeks focus mostly on personal perceptions and how they shape your writing. Week 3 will focus on what is keeping you from your goals. Week 4 will provide an intense round up of prompts to supercharge your new writing.
